Marine & Aquaculture Technology

Marine and Aquaculture Technology has been running for 3 years as a Year 9 elective. This subject covers a range of marine topics that involve a hands-on approach with an emphasis on conservation. Water safety, fishing, rockpools, mangroves, local area studies and field trips give students an appreciation of their local environment. Excursions to i-max, Sydney Maritime Museum and Sydney Aquarium are an extension of various topics to broaden the scope of each.
